Hunts Point Regional Library

Bronx, NY

Our restoration of a 1929 Carrere and Hastings gem, the last Carnegie-gift-library in the city, included extensive site inspections, structural evaluations, and facade work to remedy the severe deterioration of the building. In a sensitive restoration that brings the Florentine-style library into the new century, our work was granted the prestigious Lucy G Moses Award by the New York City Landmarks Conservancy in 2002.
